...music on a school night...

I work with the very talented Johanna who had a gig on Tuesday night. She was amazing. I wish I brought my camera. She was sitting on a cushion/stool, with this beautiful white skirt and tank with her great cowboy boots. The lights were making her glow. She was mesmerizing. Her music is quirky and so beautiful. The melodies are marvelous in their simplicity. Plus she plays the ukulele and the lyrics makes me grin. Really really love it.

Then her super talented boyfriend went on next with his band The Pages. The were releasing their EP album "Creatures of the Earth". They totally rocked! I love their song Robots. Sweet and amazing lyrics.
