sea creatures...
I made a girl. Well she has hair...sort of mermaid crossed with a sea creature.
They came from a piece of this backdrop that we painted several years ago. The colors were just so beautiful I couldn't bear to throw it away. It was ungessoed so I threw it in the wash and the paint stayed.
Here are my first three creations, names from left to right :
Irma (the middle sister) Matildia (the youngest sister) and Azriel (the oldest sister).
Would love to know what you think....

wendy, I just adore Irma! Her hair is fantastic! I think your idea to use old backdrops is quite magical really.

their mouths are the BEST! they all looked slightly shocked - like they want to go back to the sea....
LOVING the used backdrop... and in particular how this one matches their personalities....

Irma looks just like a classic middle sister... very Jan Brady of the Brady Bunch. I love her little green lips... she's my fave. Wonderful assortment of names too.
